Our history Since 1985
Pujolàs is a family business with extensive knowledge and a long history in the meat sector. Our values are based on our commitment to the customer: to offer the best solutions to meet their needs in a simple, effective and productive way.
1985-1987
The creation of the company
The manufacture of the first stuffing machine and the development of the first meat presses and cutting machines.
1989
Market
Nationwide distribution – throughout Spain.
1991
Brand - Name
Change of corporate image.
1992-1994
Increasing the size of our facilities
Increasing the size of our facilities: 800 m2. The entry of our products onto the European Market.
1995-1996
Exportation
First exports to Mexico.
Entry into the French Market. The development of our cutting machine. Multi-functionality is incorporated into our portion production capacity.
1997
I+D
Multi-functionality is incorporated into our presses and stuffing machines. Multiple mould options.
2000-2003
Lapeg System
The design of the first continuous stuffing machine: LAPEG System. Automatic loading – stuffing – stapling and stretching.
2005-2006
Increasing the size of our facilities
New facilities: 3,500 m2 of working area.
Expansion of our market share in Central and South America. The opening of new markets in the USA.
2007-2008
Pilot Plant
The opening of new markets: Australia and Europe.
Pujolàs moves into research.
The P3 Pilot Plant is built.
R+D+I applied in production processes.
2009
Lapeg System
Innovation: A stuffing system with a product positioning loader. Further development of the LAPEG System.

Pujolàs facilitiesand technology
Design, development and production
In 2007, Pujolàs' new facilities were opened in Sant Jaume de Llierca. This plant has a built-up area of 3,500 m2 devoted exclusively to manufacturing, plus a further 800 m2 for offices and the technical area.
An additional 2,500 m2 were added to increase the production and assembly area; expand the electronics and software department; and broaden the technology area to enable new products to be developed and new equipment to be manufactured.
